Get a job offer from a Yukon employer
It’s your responsibility to find employment in Yukon. The YNP does not play a role in recruitment or maintain a list of eligible Yukon employers.
If you do receive a job offer from a Yukon employer it’s important to know:
- employers are not obligated to nominate foreign workers under the YNP; and
- employers cannot, directly or indirectly, charge or collect a fee or receive any financial gain for nominating a foreign worker.

Yukon Nominee Program streams
Streams of the Yukon Nominee Program include:
- Critical Impact Worker;
- Skilled Worker;
- Express Entry; and
- Yukon Community Program (includes a Critical Impact Worker and Skilled Worker stream).
Canada Citizenship Practice Test
Your stream is determined by the National Occupational Classification (NOC) of the job offer:
- occupations in NOC Skill Levels C or D fall under the Critical Impact Worker stream; and
- occupations in NOC Skill Levels 0, A, or B fall under the Skilled Worker stream.
For example, if you’ve been offered employment as a Food Counter Attendant (NOC code 6711) you fall under NOC skill level D and would therefore apply under the Critical Impact Worker stream.
